A week ago, in my auntie's home at Jember, I saw some photos of my cousin's wedding. I accidentally said, "When I get married (akad and walimah), I don't wanna put any make up on my face. I'll put them myself,"
Auntie: But why?
Me: I just don't wanna put that make up on my face. I'll look like a clown.
Auntie: Nope, you'll look so beautiful. I mean, Vivi, for a valuable moment that is just once in your life, you have to look beautiful, really beautiful.
Me: Well, I can put them myself. I know little about make up.
Auntie: Let the professionals do it for you.
Me: No! I'm beautiful on my own.
Conversation ended.
I do hate using thick make up on my face. I mean, yes, I'm using it but it's just face powder, and a little lip balm on my lips.
I once used that thick make up, when I was a senior high school student, I was chosen by my teacher to hold a flag on pawai pembangunan. It means that I have to walk around Bontang, holding flag in my hand, wearing modern kebaya and put those thick make up on my face. I done it, and.... OK, that was disgusting! I feel like a clown lost in Brawijaya.
When I get married, I'll just put some foundation, face powder, a very-little blush on for my cheeks, lipstick on my lips, mascara and eye shadow for my eyes. And I'm not gonna use them a lot, just a little. I'll put them myself. I'm beautiful on my way. I'm gonna be the simplest bride ever, hehehehe. :3
